Twenty years, one job: translating Japanese technical documents accurately

Since 2006 we have focused on serving Japanese semiconductor and manufacturing companies. Promotional materials and press releases, product technical documentation, in-house training materials, bidding documents — terminology stays consistent, ready to use the moment they are delivered.

WHY THEBLESS

Why Japanese companies trust us with their technical documents

The real barrier in translation isn't language — it's domain understanding. Twenty years focused solely on manufacturing translation has turned that barrier into process.

01

Terminology before translation

We build a dedicated termbase and translation memory for every client. The wording agreed in version 1 stays consistent three years later.

02

Two-person translation & review

Industry-backed translators draft; senior reviewers check sentence by sentence against the source; key documents get an extra native-speaker proofreading pass.

03

Translators who understand manufacturing

Our team is made of technicians with semiconductor, heavy-industry and automotive backgrounds plus returnees from Japan — not generalist translators.

04

Confidentiality & controlled process

We sign an NDA before cooperation; file transfer and archiving are fully traceable; project status and owners can be traced at any time.

INDUSTRIES

Nine industries, one terminology system

From promotional materials to nuclear-safety documents, every industry gets a fixed translator team and termbase — no ad-hoc staffing.

CORE FIELD

Semiconductor / Electronic Components

Our main clients for two decades. Technical documents issued by Japanese headquarters are localized to the OEM's term system — usable on the shop floor the moment they arrive.

Common documents: Promotional materials · Press releases · Technical documentation · Product specs · Failure analysis reports · In-house training · Patent documents

Nuclear Power

Pressure-vessel bidding documents, safety-analysis reports, equipment maintenance procedures, regulatory submissions

Automotive

Bidding documents, parts drawing notes, assembly work instructions, system documents, after-sales repair manuals

Forklift

Operation manuals, safety labels, hydraulic-system repair manuals, export-certification materials

LED Lighting

Urban lighting-system engineering docs, product specs, optical-test reports, installation manuals

Construction

Bidding documents, construction-organization design, drawing notes, safety documentation

Railway / Transit

Freight-locomotive control systems, vehicle-maintenance procedures, signaling-system documents

Overseas · Immigration

Academic credentials, employment & income proof, asset proof, notarization & authentication materials

Legal

Contracts & agreements, articles of incorporation, litigation & arbitration materials, compliance-review documents

SERVICES

Four service types covering a document's full lifecycle

From issuance by Japanese HQ to use on the Chinese factory floor — we do however many steps sit in between.

Translation

Technical documents, bidding files, patent documents, certificate materials — Chinese/foreign translation across 34 languages, priced per 1,000 Chinese characters.

Interpretation

Escort, consecutive and simultaneous interpretation. Covers factory sites, equipment installation & commissioning, cross-border technical coordination meetings, brand-licensing launches, business negotiations and large conferences.

Localization & DTP

Multilingual DTP layout, drawing & diagram text processing, finished production of product manuals and promotional brochures.

On-site & Rush

Translators stationed at the client site to assist daily communication and on-site training; rush jobs take the green channel, compressing delivery by the hour.

HOW WE WORK

Five steps, no need to chase us in between

01

Requirements

Send the files and purpose; we assess language, domain and delivery format, and return a quote and timeline the same day.

02

Terminology prep

For first-time cooperation we first sort the term list, confirm with you, then lock it; all later documents reuse the same wording.

03

Translation & self-check

The industry-matched translator drafts, then reads through against the source once, before moving to review.

04

Review & native proof

Senior reviewer checks sentence by sentence; Japanese documents get a final native-speaker nuance pass.

05

Delivery & archiving

Deliver in the agreed format; archive source and translation together, sync the termbase, reuse next time.
